Biop\u00f4le SA has launched a new innovation center dedicated to digital health. The new platform addresses the growing demand for a forum and gathering point to accelerate the development of patient-focused digital solutions.<\/h4>\n

The new Digital Health Hub has opened its doors and hosts about 15 companies. After the launch of StartLab<\/a>, its life sciences start-up incubator, back in March 2018, Biop\u00f4le SA<\/a> launches a new initiative that brings together leading companies and renowned experts in the field of digital health.<\/p>\n

\u201cDigitalization is essential in every aspect of our lives. As a strategic player in the region, we are responsible for leading the integration of new technologies in the health field. Our vision at Biop\u00f4le is to develop a digital health center that is backed by our unique ecosystem in terms of diversity, expertise and resourcefulness, and which aims to become, thanks to the convergence of experts in health and digitalization, a world-renowned center of excellence for developing digital solutions, accelerating projects and disseminating knowledge to patients\u201d, says Nasri Nahas, CEO of Biop\u00f4le SA.<\/p>\n

The Digital Health Hub, based on the Biop\u00f4le site in Epalinges in the canton of Vaud, has an infrastructure of 900 sqm, composed of private spaces as well as multiple common spaces, and can accommodate up to 20 companies.<\/p>\n

A rapidly growing ecosystem<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Since its creation in 2004, Biop\u00f4le has become a strategic site for research and development in the field of life sciences. With the growth of its ecosystem and its network, Biop\u00f4le SA seeks to promote the convergence of leading ideas and projects across life sciences to support innovation in the region. Thanks to the new buildings scheduled to be completed in 2020 and 2021, adding around 20,000 sqm of additional space, Biop\u00f4le will be able to accommodate a large number of companies, organizations and projects that want to be closer to the new Digital Health Hub and to benefit from the unique ecosystem of companies and institutions on the campus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
