In parallel, the company is investing 100 million Swiss francs in a production facility in Yverdon-les-Bains that will be fully operational in 2021.<\/h4>\n<p>\u201cThe opening of our new European headquarters will have a positive impact on our employees and foster collaboration across Europe,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/incyte_we-are-thrilled-to-announce-the-opening-of-activity-6685889968516190208-3fQp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> Jonathan Dickinson, Executive Vice President and General Manager Europe at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.incyte.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Incyte<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The new facility, named Campus L\u00e9man, will soon house more than 150 employees from the company\u2019s global and regional regulatory, clinical development, commercial, medical affairs and technical operations groups, as well as team members across other support functions. The campus extends over 11,600m<sup>2 <\/sup>and includes a restaurant and a garden, which will be partially accessible to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Incyte focuses on the discovery, development and commercialization of novel medicines in oncology, inflammation and autoimmunity. Founded in 2002 in Wilmington, Delaware, today the company employs approximately 1,500 people in the U.S., Europe and Japan. Following the acquisition of ARIAD Pharmaceuticals\u2019 European operations in 2016, Incyte announced plans to further expand its Swiss operations via the establishment of a <a href=\"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/en\/incyte-establishes-manufacturing-site-in-switzerland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">60,000m<sup>2<\/sup> production plant<\/a> at the Y-PARC Science and Technology Park in Yverdon-les-Bains.
