The SOPHiA Platform is used by over 1,000 healthcare institutions and has analyzed 600,000 genomic profiles (up to 17,000 new profiles a month).<\/p>\n<p>Led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amoon.fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aMoon<\/a>, a leading health-tech &amp; life sciences venture fund based in\u00a0Israel, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/hitachi-ventures-gmbh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hitachi Ventures<\/a>, a venture arm of Japanese Hitachi Group, the new funding round in the amount of $110 million will boost the company\u2019s penetration in both the US and Asian markets.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, this Series F round will also be dedicated to increasing the platform multimodal capabilities and its adoption by healthcare institutions worldwide, allowing SOPHiA GENETICS to optimize and accelerate the development of new targeted therapies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;SOPHiA has established an impressive track record of disrupting healthcare and enabling a decentralized approach.
