Ark Foundation<\/a>, has been bringing together participants from all walks of life to develop innovative solutions addressing concrete health challenges. In 2020, the concept has evolved, but the mission remains the same: to support the co-development of innovative solutions to address real-life issues.<\/p>\nThis year, the Arkathon Program will be carried out in three phases: first, an Open Call for Solutions has been launched and will be followed by a Bootcamp where selected candidates will be invited to participate in two intense days of workshops, then an Immersion Program, which will welcome the most promising projects for the co-development period of the solutions.<\/p>\n
The unique proposition of the Arkathon program is that leading Swiss and foreign companies, healthcare institutions and technological institutes are involved in the program and work closely with the applicants over the entire duration to co-develop concrete healthcare solutions, backed by the financial support of regional public funds.<\/p>\n
Innovative solutions for pain relief<\/h4>\n
Understanding, treating and managing pain is one of the greatest challenges facing the healthcare industry today. As a result, the Arkathon program’s solutions must address a specific problem in the field of acute or chronic pain, at all levels of patient care (prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, maintaining quality of life, pain management or palliative care).
