{"id":14295,"date":"2021-06-14T14:37:41","date_gmt":"2021-06-14T12:37:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/cydfellowships\/"},"modified":"2023-07-04T13:40:27","modified_gmt":"2023-07-04T11:40:27","slug":"cydfellowships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/en\/cydfellowships\/","title":{"rendered":"Cyber-Defence Fellowships: A Talent Program for Cyber-Defence Research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To promote research and education in cyber-defence, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epfl.ch\/en\/\">EPFL<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ar.admin.ch\/en\/armasuisse-wissenschaft-und-technologie-w-t\/cyber-defence_campus.html\">Cyber-Defence Campus<\/a> have jointly launched the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.epfl.ch\/research\/services\/fund-research\/funding-opportunities\/fellowship-mobility\/cyd-fellowships\/\">CYD Fellowships \u2013 A Talent Program for Cyber-Defence Research<\/a>.\u201d The fourth call for proposals is now open with <strong>a rolling call for Master Thesis Fellowship<\/strong> applications, and with <strong>a deadline of 16 August 2021 for Doctoral and Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship applications<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For more information visit the program&#8217;s dedicated\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.epfl.ch\/research\/services\/fund-research\/funding-opportunities\/fellowship-mobility\/cyd-fellowships\/cyd-applicant-workshop\/\">website<\/a> or join the online Applicant Workshop on <strong>5 August 2021 from 10.00 to 10.45 CEST<\/strong> (for more information please contact <a href=\"mailto:research@epfl.ch\">research@epfl.ch<\/a>). The CYD fellows are hosted by a higher education institution in Switzerland and conduct their research at the CYD Campus located on the premises of EPFL and ETHZ and in its office in Thun.
