In a key milestone, the company based at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agroscope.admin.ch\/agroscope\/en\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Agroscope<\/a>\u2019s Nyon site (in the canton of Vaud)\u00a0just announced the second and final closing of its Series A round.<\/p>\n<p>The round was led by JD Investments, <a href=\"https:\/\/privilege-ventures.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Privil\u00e8ge Ventures<\/a>\u00a0and a new strategic investor,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.baywa.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BayWa<\/a>, also participated in this financing round.<\/p>\n<p>BayWa AG is a listed company with international operations and a broad-based portfolio in the energy, agriculture and building materials businesses. The company sells products and services across the entire agricultural value chain and has strong market positions in Europe with global reach.<\/p>\n<h4>Preparing for a European launch<\/h4>\n<p>The whole Series A round amounted to CHF 4.8 Million, including the EU\u2019s EIC accelerator grant.
