It helps extend any existing or future Electronic Medical Record (EMR) by linking imaging data to the rest of the patient\u2019s record. This will provide seamless integration of all medical data through a single channel, thus facilitating access to the complete patient history for efficient management and follow-up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is critical for patients to access all their radiological examinations. This is because the lack of access to previously performed examinations is a major source of erroneous medical decisions and unjustified costs &#8211; not to mention the unnecessary radiation that patients are exposed to due to repeated exams\u201d, said Prof. Osman Ratib, CEO of Agora Care.<\/p>\n<p>Supported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fongit.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FONGIT<\/a>,\u00a0Agora Care <a href=\"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/geneva-med-it-start-up-agora-care-begins-clinical-testing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launched three projects in the\u00a0Health Valley<\/a>\u00a0to test its digital platform earlier this year.\u00a0The newly completed seed financing round will enable the start-up to implement the solution in more centers in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>As the need for big data and large reference databases grows to support precision medicine, personalized treatments and clinical trials, Agora Care is working hard to accelerate its development.
