EPoS Technologies<\/a> has leveraged Electro Sinter Forging (ESF), a powder metallurgical method that allows for the rapid production of various materials and components. Through their unique processing route, they have elevated the production of industrial parts from powders to a new level. ESF is currently the fastest industrial sintering technology available, capable of completing a full sintering in under one second. By combining pressing and sintering into a single action, ESF has the potential to transform the conventional press and sinter workflow into a more streamlined, energy-efficient, eco-friendly, and high-quality production process.<\/p>\n

The start-up based in Villaz-St-Pierre (canton of Fribourg) is embarking on a new development phase following a CHF 2 million investment from Nivalis Group<\/a>. The funds will be utilized to bolster the team, construct the initial industrial-scale Electro-Sinter-Forging press, and commence commercialization of components and materials. The objective for the new machine is to attain a productivity rate of one part every five seconds while also doubling the size of the producible components. Several highly interested clients have already been drawn to the fledgling company and are actively investing in new eforged products.<\/p>\n
