The start-up, known for its innovative approach to protecting athletes’ brain health, designs and develops helmet-worn sensors and software for brain injury prevention and cognitive performance monitoring in sports. This award further consolidates Bearmind’s recognition in the field, following its notable CHF 1.3 million seed funding round in March 2023<\/a> for the advancement of its wearable tech and software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, the Health & Nutrition category was clinched by Geneva-based Diatheris<\/a>. The company has made significant strides in providing improved therapeutic solutions for type 1 diabetes management, aiming to offer an effective alternative to insulin therapy.
