Founded in 2016, ORamaVR is at the forefront of virtual reality (VR) solutions for medical training, addressing a critical global shortage of healthcare professionals by providing innovative, immersive training modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ORamaVR was initially established in Heraklion, Greece, as a spin-off from the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas. In 2020, the company moved its headquarters to Geneva to meet the growing demand for its VR training solutions and to leverage the region&#8217;s robust life sciences and technology ecosystem. MAGES allows for the creation of high-quality, cost-effective medical training modules that significantly reduce the time and resources typically required for developing such content. This technology has been pivotal in various collaborative projects, including <a href=\"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/en\/the-universities-of-bern-and-geneva-launch-a-revolutionary-vr-project-with-oramavr\/\">partnerships with the University of Bern<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/en\/the-geneva-university-hospitals-launch-the-center-for-virtual-medicine\/\">Geneva University Hospitals (HUG)<\/a>, and several international institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/en\/oramavr-part-of-innosuisses-chf-12-million-vr-surgical-training-project\/\">ORamaVR was part of Innosuisse&#8217;s &#8220;PROFICIENCY&#8221; project<\/a>, which received CHF 12 million to advance surgical simulation training. The project aims to shift practical training in surgery from the operating room to standardized, proficiency-based curricula utilizing VR and augmented reality (AR) technologies. This initiative highlights ORamaVR&#8217;s commitment to revolutionizing medical education through cutting-edge technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recent Innosuisse Scale-up Award not only validates the company&#8217;s growth and innovation but also provides essential support for its future expansion. With the Scale-up Coaching program, ORamaVR will receive specialized guidance in areas such as organizational growth, regulatory affairs, fundraising, and investor relations, helping the company scale
