Typeless<\/a>‘ technology will be integrated into Doctolib<\/a>‘s upcoming digital medical assistant, scheduled for release at the end of 2024. This integration aims to standardize doctor-patient conversations into clinical documentation, thereby freeing medical professionals from note-taking during consultations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This acquisition is a strategic move by Doctolib to expand its AI capabilities, following its recent acquisition of Aaron.ai and the introduction of an AI-based telephone assistant. The Typeless team will enhance Doctolib’s expertise in data science, artificial intelligence, and robotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflecting on Typeless’ journey, the company expressed pride<\/a> in developing medical speech-to-text and language technology that continues to serve an increasing number of healthcare practitioners. As a spin-off of the Idiap Research Institute<\/a>, Typeless has benefited from substantial support through the BRIDGE Programme, as well as backing from Berkeley SkyDeck and EPFL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nikolay Kolev, Managing Director of Doctolib in Germany and member of the global Executive Board, stated, “The integration of Typeless and its team of experts is a further step in expanding our AI strategy.
