Headquartered in Lausanne (canton of Vaud), SWISSto12<\/a>, has been awarded a USD 10 million contract to supply state-of-the-art RF equipment to a major European aerospace OEM. This contract represents a significant milestone for the company, which specializes in innovative antenna systems and RF communications products for maritime, airborne and ground applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SWISSto12, which employs over 150 people in its U.S. and European offices, has established itself as a pioneer in the use of 3D printing technology for RF product applications. The company’s products are known for being lightweight, compact, and rugged, offering industry-leading performance ideal for harsh environments such as maritime. This latest contract introduces a new category of antenna that will enhance maritime safety by optimizing performance, throughput and coverage flexibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company’s flagship product, HummingSat, is a small but powerful geostationary telecommunications satellite developed in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) through its public-private partnership program.
