With a focus on leveraging cutting-edge plasma-catalytic technology, the company aims to provide scalable, impactful tools for industries facing growing environmental regulations. Williams<\/a>, a prominent U.S. energy company with extensive natural gas operations, brings decades of expertise in infrastructure and innovation. Together, their collaboration under the DOE Methane Emissions Reduction Program (MERP<\/a>) underscores a shared commitment to tackling methane emissions, a pressing global challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grant supports the \u201cDaphne and Williams Methane Slip Abatement Plasma-Catalyst Scale-Up\u201d project, which focuses on reducing methane slip\u2014emissions from the exhaust of natural gas engines. This issue is a significant challenge for the oil and gas sector, and the project aligns with MERP\u2019s mission to mitigate methane emissions across various sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daphne Technology will deploy its advanced plasma-catalytic system, SlipPure, on four natural gas engines within Williams\u2019 U.S. operations. This pilot phase will test the technology\u2019s performance, adaptability, and cost-effectiveness under diverse environmental and operational conditions. Williams will facilitate the initiative by installing and operating the SlipPure systems. This partnership combines Daphne\u2019s expertise in advanced environmental technologies with Williams\u2019 extensive operational capabilities, setting the stage for scalable solutions to methane emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
