Its flagship product, the CardioKit system, offers a non-invasive alternative to traditional treatments by combining precise radiation therapy with motion tracking to account for cardiac movement. This approach addresses a growing need for effective and patient-friendly solutions to manage ventricular tachycardias (VTs), a life-threatening condition that affects millions globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest funding was provided under Italy\u2019s Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR) and the European Union\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/next-generation-eu.europa.eu\/index_en\">Next Generation EU initiative<\/a>. \u201cOur deepest gratitude goes to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdpventurecapital.it\/cdp-venture-capital\/en\/home.page\">CDP Venture Capital<\/a> and the European Union for their confidence in our vision and vital support,\u201d said CEO Marina Izzo in the company\u2019s announcement. \u201cThis investment propels us forward in our mission to build innovative healthcare solutions that improve people&#8217;s health and strengthen the healthcare system.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new funding follows the EUR 14.35 million raised in June 2023 from a consortium led by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.panakes.it\/\">Panak\u00e8s Partners<\/a>, alongside the <a href=\"https:\/\/eic.ec.europa.eu\/investment-opportunities_en\">European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lakegenevaventures.com\/\">EFI Lake Geneva Ventures<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liftt.com\/en\/liftt-venture-capital-en\/\">LIFTT Venture Capital Italia<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.occident.group\/\">OCCIDENT<\/a>, and other investors, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/\">Mayo Clinic<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the Series A funding now complete, EBAMed is focused on advancing the CardioKit system to the final stages of clinical trials, marking a crucial step toward commercial deployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A significant advancement in non-invasive treatments<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Heart arrhythmias, which affect approximately 50 million people globally, are projected to increase significantly due to aging populations. EBAMed\u2019s CardioKit system addresses this challenge with a non-invasive approach to treat ventricular tachycardias (VTs), a potentially life-threatening condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CardioKit system integrates advanced motion monitoring and gating technology to enhance the precision of proton radiation therapy, minimizing radiation exposure to healthy heart tissue.
