The funding will accelerate worldwide deployment of the company\u2019s ASIO solution, strengthen its commercialization pipeline, and support product development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2019 in Lausanne as an EPFL spin-off, Flybotix has established itself as a pioneer in drone-based inspection technology. Its flagship ASIO solution combines patented drone engineering with a dedicated SaaS platform, enabling safe and efficient inspections of industrial and civilian assets such as power plants, water infrastructure, and transport systems. With extended flight time, higher payload capacity, and integrated analytics, ASIO reduces downtime and increases safety in environments that are dangerous or difficult for human inspectors to access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expanding global presence<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its early success with the ASIO Pro, Flybotix has continued to scale. In 2024, the company launched the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flybotix.com\/asio-x\/\">ASIO X<\/a>, its second-generation drone that builds on its core technology and integrates cloud-based data processing through its ASIO Explore software. Flybotix has also expanded its distribution network to more than 30 countries and formed partnerships with municipalities and industrial groups worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new financing round was led by a family office with a strong focus on technology investments, alongside existing backers led by Greeneering Invest AG. \u201cThis financing represents a major milestone for Flybotix,\u201d said Samir Bouabdallah, CEO and Co-Founder. \u201cThis vote of confidence in our team, backed by new funding, will accelerate the global deployment of ASIO, enhance its capabilities, and enable us to deliver safer, more efficient inspection solutions for industries where reliability is essential.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Swiss start-up to global player<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Flybotix\u2019s trajectory has been marked by <a href=\"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/en\/flybotix-secures-chf-5-5-million-to-enhance-drone-navigation-with-its-patented-technology\/\">consistent recognition<\/a>, including participation in programs such as Venture Kick, ESA BIC Switzerland, and the Venture Leaders initiative. Its inclusion in the TOP 100 Swiss Startups ranking highlights its transition from a promising EPFL spin-off to a global player in drone-based industrial
