Based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, La Joux-Perret<\/a> employs around 140 people and is recognized for its expertise in the design and production of high-precision mechanical and automatic movements. In recent years, the manufacture has also emerged as a pioneer in solar-powered movements, an area where Citizen<\/a> has long been a global leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LVMH<\/a>\u2019s investment is accompanied by a strategic commercial agreement that will provide its watch brands with enhanced access to cutting-edge research and manufacturing capabilities. According to the group, the partnership aims to accelerate innovation across its watchmaking portfolio while reinforcing the sustainability of its supply chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration builds on several years of joint development projects between TAG Heuer<\/a> and La Joux-Perret. The two companies worked together on a Swiss-made solar quartz movement, now featured in TAG Heuer\u2019s Aquaracer and Formula 1 collections, and on a mechanical caliber for Tiffany & Co.<\/a>, another brand within the LVMH portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The minority stake in La Joux-Perret forms part of LVMH\u2019s broader strategy to anchor its watchmaking operations in Switzerland, where the group already operates 16 manufactures. It also underlines LVMH\u2019s long-term commitment to local expertise and sustainable production methods in a country synonymous with horological excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For La Joux-Perret, which has maintained a distinctive identity under Citizen\u2019s ownership since 2012, the partnership opens new avenues for growth in both traditional and emerging watch technologies. The company\u2019s ability to combine Swiss craftsmanship with advanced Japanese engineering positions it as a unique bridge between two cultures of precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
