This approach enables the transport of heat and cold at low temperatures through smaller, lighter and more flexible pipes, significantly reducing installation footprint and civil engineering works in dense urban environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investment aligns with ENGIE\u2019s Local Energy Infrastructure strategy, which focuses on compact, efficient and renewable-compatible solutions. By supporting ExerGo\u2019s industrialization and market expansion, ENGIE aims to strengthen its offering to municipalities, utilities and real estate developers seeking to decarbonize heating and cooling infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ExerGo\u2019s technology is designed to optimize the use of waste heat and local renewable resources, including surface water and shallow geothermal energy. Compared to conventional water-based networks, its CO\u2082 system can reduce installation costs and improve thermal performance. The company has already demonstrated its solution through a pilot plant in Sion and <a href=\"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/en\/exergo-secures-a-major-heat-pump-project-in-fribourg\/\">a major project with
