The Foundation for Innovation and Technology (FIT<\/a>) has awarded Tech Seed loans to three start-ups from Western Switzerland, providing early-stage financial support to advance technologies spanning neurodiversity care, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, and athlete protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diverssity<\/a> received a CHF 50,000 Tech Seed loan to advance its mixed reality therapeutic game “My Magic Room,” designed for neurodiverse adolescents with autism spectrum disorder. The platform immerses users in gamified therapy scenarios through a mixed reality headset, targeting emotion regulation, communication, concentration, and sensorimotor skills. A forthcoming AI-powered tracking module will capture behavioral biomarkers to develop personalized patient profiles. The funding will support the development of a data analysis platform and the rollout of the game across six pilot institutions in the cantons of Vaud and Valais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MoleSense<\/a> secured CHF 100,000 to develop a wearable skin patch for the continuous, non-invasive monitoring of high-risk pregnancies. The device stimulates local perspiration and monitors reproductive health biomarkers, including inflammation and hormonal changes, autonomously throughout pregnancy, without requiring blood tests or active user intervention. An integrated AI system interprets the data in real time, detecting risk patterns such as infection or premature birth earlier than conventional methods. The loan will fund the development of a first sensor prototype, the transition to automated production, and initial pre-clinical testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Performance MouthGuard<\/a> received CHF 100,000 to bring its 3D-printed, custom-fitted mouthguard to market. Based on precise individual oral scanning, the device offers 50% greater dental protection than commercially available alternatives and 50% greater neck muscle activation, a mechanism that reduces head acceleration on impact and lowers concussion risk.
