Taranis joins existing investors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shell.com\/energy-and-innovation\/new-energies\/shell-ventures.html\">Shell Ventures<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trafigura.com\">Trafigura<\/a>, which previously partnered with Daphne to deploy its <a href=\"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/en\/daphne-technology-teams-up-with-trafigura-to-deploy-puremetrics-on-lng-carrier\/\">PureMetrics emissions monitoring system aboard an LNG carrier<\/a>, as key backers of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The capital will fund the establishment of US manufacturing capacity, additional product development, and expanded field deployment and technical service capabilities, with commercial rollout targeting midstream and upstream natural gas operators facing growing regulatory pressure to reduce methane emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Methane slip, unburned methane in the exhaust of lean-burn natural gas engines, accounts for 55% of methane emissions from compressor engines used by pipeline operators, and remains largely unaddressed by existing aftertreatment systems. Daphne&#8217;s SlipPure system responds directly to this challenge through a patented plasma-catalytic process delivering 90% methane reduction alongside removal of 99% of carbon monoxide, 99% of formaldehyde, and 60% of NO\u2082, with no moving parts and no engine modification required. A field demonstration is currently underway on a 2,000 HP lean-burn engine at a leading US midstream operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The raise builds on significant commercial momentum for Daphne. In January 2025, the company secured nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/en\/daphne-technology-partners-with-williams-for-doe-funded-methane-reduction-project\/\">USD 6 million from the US Department of Energy&#8217;s Methane Emissions Reduction Program<\/a> alongside energy company Williams to deploy SlipPure across four natural gas engines in the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Headquartered in Ecublens with offices in Houston and Singapore, Daphne Technology combines expertise in plasma chemistry, catalysis, and oil and gas engineering, and is the only provider offering a validated,
