The round was backed by Swiss business angels, including an investor from the SICTIC network, and by the Stiftung HSG START Accelerator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based at the <a href=\"https:\/\/epfl-innovationpark.ch\/\">EPFL Innovation Park<\/a> and developed in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epfl.ch\/en\/\">EPFL<\/a>, the company&#8217;s technology combines materials science with industrial printing processes to reinforce compostable films. The aim is to enable packaging that is thinner, stronger and more cost-competitive while remaining compostable, addressing one of the barriers to wider adoption of compostable materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The financing will support the next stage of industrial development and expand the team from three to five people. Priorities include optimizing strategic pattern and zone printing, refining mechanical reinforcement criteria, conducting further industrial-scale trials and advancing compostability certification,
