The company has scaled its perovskite solar cell technology into a commercial production process and begun shipping custom-designed cells, offering photovoltaic components with significant flexibility in dimensions, appearance and electrical characteristics for products where conventional solar modules cannot be integrated effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the launch of the Sun-a-Wear UV tracker, presented as the world&#8217;s first commercially available product powered by perovskite photovoltaics, the company now supplies customers developing energy-autonomous electronic devices, including IoT sensors and smart devices. It is currently shipping custom cells for a tracking device to a US-based customer and runs proof-of-concept projects with partners across Europe and Asia, ranging from established industrial companies to technology ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First steps toward space<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the Bengaluru Space Expo 2026, Perovskia Solar signed a memorandum of understanding with India&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/akashalabdhi-pvt-ltd\/\">AkashaLabdhi<\/a> to explore the use of its perovskite photovoltaic technology for space applications. At this stage, the company will provide cells for evaluation and qualification rather than for confirmed deployment on satellites or space stations. In parallel, it is developing flexible perovskite cells with an improved power-to-weight ratio, with a minimum viable prototype planned by the end of 2026 and the goal of sending cells into space by the fourth quarter of 2027, following basic space qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company&#8217;s priorities include increasing production capacity and manufacturing efficiency, as well as improving the performance, durability and customization of its products, supported by the EUR 2.25 million EIC Accelerator grant it was awarded in June 2026. Perovskia Solar also plans to strengthen its presence in Europe, Asia and North America, notably through a new sales manager in Taiwan, to expand its R&amp;D, engineering and business development
