Participant \u00e0 ce projet, le Centre Suisse d&rsquo;\u00c9lectronique et de Microtechnique (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.csem.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CSEM<\/a>) a pass\u00e9 les quatre derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper une solution innovante qui cherche \u00e0 bouleverser le monde photovolta\u00efque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lanc\u00e9 en septembre 2019 et financ\u00e9 par une bourse de EUR 10,6 millions de l&rsquo;Union europ\u00e9enne, le projet Hiperion a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 ce qui est acclam\u00e9 comme les panneaux photovolta\u00efques plats les plus efficaces au monde. Ces panneaux r\u00e9volutionnaires ont affich\u00e9 un impressionnant rendement de conversion d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie de plus de 29% dans des conditions de test standard, un bond substantiel par rapport aux 15-22% qu\u2019offrent les panneaux conventionnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette augmentation de l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 est obtenue en combinant ing\u00e9nieusement deux technologies de panneaux solaires : la technologie photovolta\u00efque conventionnelle, qui collecte \u00e0 la fois la lumi\u00e8re directe et diffuse, et le photovolta\u00efque concentr\u00e9, une technologie spatiale qui est plus efficace mais n\u00e9cessite un ensoleillement direct. Les panneaux hybrides Hiperion exploitent ces deux technologies, augmentant leur production d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie lors d&rsquo;un ensoleillement direct et s&rsquo;appuyant sur le photovolta\u00efque conventionnel lors de conditions plus nuageuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les modules de Hiperion sont actuellement fabriqu\u00e9s sur une ligne de production pilote au <a href=\"https:\/\/www.innoparc.ch\/\">parc technologique Innoparc<\/a> \u00e0 Neuch\u00e2tel. Une fois produits, ils sont envoy\u00e9s \u00e0 des sites pilotes \u00e0 travers l&rsquo;Europe pour des tests rigoureux sous diverses conditions climatiques et contraintes m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les implications de cette innovation sont vastes. La haute efficacit\u00e9 des panneaux Hiperion les rend particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9s pour des environnements o\u00f9 l&rsquo;espace est limit\u00e9 mais les besoins en \u00e9nergie sont \u00e9lev\u00e9s. Les b\u00e2timents urbains avec de petits toits et les stations de recharge de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, o\u00f9 une haute puissance est n\u00e9cessaire sur une petite surface, sont des candidats de choix pour cette technologie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Compl\u00e9ter les panneaux conventionnels<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette innovation n&rsquo;est pas destin\u00e9e \u00e0 concurrencer directement les panneaux solaires conventionnels, mais plut\u00f4t \u00e0 les compl\u00e9ter. En se concentrant sur des march\u00e9s de niche et en r\u00e9solvant des d\u00e9fis uniques, Hiperion favorise une approche hybride de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie solaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bien que le projet Hiperion ait \u00e9t\u00e9 un succ\u00e8s retentissant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, la transition de la phase de prototype \u00e0 la production de masse n&rsquo;est pas sans ses d\u00e9fis. Il n\u00e9cessite encore des capitaux suppl\u00e9mentaires de la part des investisseurs pour initier la phase d&rsquo;industrialisation et stimuler la production. De plus, des ajustements suppl\u00e9mentaires sont n\u00e9cessaires pour se conformer aux normes industrielles, et la taille des panneaux doit \u00eatre augment\u00e9e pour correspondre \u00e0 celle des panneaux conventionnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aujourd\u2019hui, le projet Hiperion offre une alternative prometteuse au march\u00e9 photovolta\u00efque domin\u00e9 par l&rsquo;Asie, donnant \u00e0 l&rsquo;Europe l&rsquo;occasion de reprendre le devant dans l&rsquo;innovation technologique solaire.
