Alors que les mod\u00e8les g\u00e9n\u00e9ralistes comme ChatGPT servent un large \u00e9ventail de t\u00e2ches, l&rsquo;orientation m\u00e9dicale de Meditron lui permet d&rsquo;\u00eatre plus compact tout en \u00e9tant tout aussi efficace. Son d\u00e9veloppement est un pas en avant dans la d\u00e9mocratisation de l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des informations m\u00e9dicales de haute qualit\u00e9, aidant ainsi \u00e0 des d\u00e9cisions cliniques bas\u00e9es sur des preuves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epfl.ch\/schools\/ic\/fr\/\">Facult\u00e9 informatique et communications<\/a> de l&rsquo;EPFL a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 deux versions de Meditron &#8211; MEDITRON 7B et 70B, comportant respectivement 7 et 70 milliards de param\u00e8tres. Contrairement \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres mod\u00e8les d&rsquo;IA dans le domaine m\u00e9dical, qui sont soit ferm\u00e9s, soit limit\u00e9s en termes d&rsquo;\u00e9chelle, Meditron offre \u00e0 la fois l&rsquo;accessibilit\u00e9 et l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle. Les mod\u00e8les ont \u00e9t\u00e9 entra\u00een\u00e9s sur des sources de donn\u00e9es m\u00e9dicales s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es et de haute qualit\u00e9, y compris la litt\u00e9rature \u00e9valu\u00e9e par les pairs et diverses directives de pratique clinique, ce qui garantit une base de connaissances large et pr\u00e9cise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une \u00e9tape importante dans le d\u00e9veloppement de l&rsquo;IA m\u00e9dicale<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;auteur principal, Zeming Chen, candidat au doctorat, a soulign\u00e9 que Meditron surpasse les autres mod\u00e8les open-source en termes de performances et est comp\u00e9titif par rapport aux principaux mod\u00e8les ferm\u00e9s, ce qui constitue une avanc\u00e9e majeure dans le domaine de l&rsquo;IA m\u00e9dicale. La nature open-source de Meditron est cruciale, car elle favorise la transparence et permet une am\u00e9lioration continue gr\u00e2ce aux contributions des chercheurs du monde entier. Cette approche est essentielle pour favoriser la confiance et la fiabilit\u00e9 dans les progr\u00e8s de l&rsquo;IA. En outre, la conception de Meditron est ax\u00e9e sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, en utilisant des sources transparentes de preuves de haute qualit\u00e9 pour garantir son efficacit\u00e9 et sa fiabilit\u00e9 dans des contextes cliniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En collaboration avec le Comit\u00e9 international de la Croix-Rouge, Meditron int\u00e8gre \u00e9galement des directives de pratique clinique humanitaire, ce qui le rend sensible aux divers contextes de soins de sant\u00e9. Le Dr Javier Elkin, du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icrc.org\/fr\">CICR<\/a>, loue le potentiel de l&rsquo;outil dans les situations humanitaires.
