Ce processus contribue \u00e0 l&rsquo;inflammation chronique et \u00e0 la mort des cellules c\u00e9r\u00e9brales. Les recherches de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unifr.ch\/home\/fr\/\">Universit\u00e9 de Fribourg<\/a> indiquent cependant que la mitophagie &#8211; un type plus sp\u00e9cifique d&rsquo;autophagie ax\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;entretien et le recyclage des mitochondries, les centrales \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques de la cellule &#8211; reste stable, voire augmente avec l&rsquo;\u00e2ge, ce qui constitue une cible viable pour une intervention th\u00e9rapeutique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une technique d&rsquo;imagerie fluorescente, les chercheurs ont observ\u00e9 une mitophagie stable ou accrue chez les souris vieillissantes dans tous les organes. \u00ab&nbsp;Nous avons pens\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agissait d&rsquo;une strat\u00e9gie cellulaire visant \u00e0 emp\u00eacher la propagation de l&rsquo;ADN mitochondrial dans le cytosol, ce qui d\u00e9clenche une r\u00e9action de d\u00e9fense et donc une inflammation&nbsp;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la Prof. Boya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>De nouvelles pistes pour lutter contre la neuroinflammation li\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les exp\u00e9riences men\u00e9es par l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe avec l&rsquo;urolithine A, un inducteur connu de la mitophagie, sur des souris vieillissantes, ont donn\u00e9 des r\u00e9sultats prometteurs. Les souris trait\u00e9es pr\u00e9sentaient des niveaux d&rsquo;inflammation r\u00e9duits et des am\u00e9liorations notables des fonctions cognitives, visuelles et motrices. D&rsquo;autres tests effectu\u00e9s sur des cultures cellulaires provenant de donneurs humains \u00e2g\u00e9s ont permis de reproduire ces r\u00e9sultats, ce qui sugg\u00e8re que le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne pourrait \u00eatre conserv\u00e9 chez toutes les esp\u00e8ces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces r\u00e9sultats ouvrent de nouvelles voies pour traiter la neuroinflammation li\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge sans modifier la physiologie du syst\u00e8me immunitaire ni induire d&rsquo;effets immunosuppresseurs. Ce d\u00e9veloppement s&rsquo;appuie non seulement sur les travaux ant\u00e9rieurs de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Fribourg dans le domaine des <a href=\"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/fr\/luniversite-de-fribourg-devoile-des-nanocapteurs-bioinspires-pour-la-detection-precoce-du-cancer\/\">nanocapteurs bioinspir\u00e9s et de la d\u00e9tection du cancer<\/a>, mais positionne \u00e9galement l&rsquo;institution \u00e0 la pointe de la recherche sur l&rsquo;att\u00e9nuation des effets du vieillissement sur le cerveau, ce qui permet d&rsquo;esp\u00e9rer de meilleures options de traitement pour les affections neurologiques li\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e2ge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Des scientifiques de
