Ces qubits sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, qui stockent et traitent les informations selon les principes de la m\u00e9canique quantique, sont connus pour leur robustesse face aux interf\u00e9rences, une caract\u00e9ristique essentielle pour un calcul quantique fiable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;un des principaux objectifs du centre est l&rsquo;utilisation de mat\u00e9riaux supraconducteurs, qui permettent \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de circuler sans r\u00e9sistance, ce qui minimise les pertes d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie. En int\u00e9grant ces mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 des structures mol\u00e9culaires, les chercheurs visent \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des qubits plus stables et plus efficaces que ce que permettent les technologies actuelles. Le concept de protection topologique, selon lequel la structure des qubits les prot\u00e8ge intrins\u00e8quement des perturbations externes, joue un r\u00f4le crucial dans le maintien de la pr\u00e9cision de calcul sur des op\u00e9rations prolong\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab Notre objectif est de r\u00e9aliser pour la premi\u00e8re fois des qubits supraconducteurs en utilisant des supraconducteurs topologiques \u00bb, a expliqu\u00e9 le professeur Ernst Meyer, directeur du centre de recherche WSS et professeur de physique \u00e0 l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 de B\u00e2le. \u00ab Nous ne nous contentons pas de perfectionner la technologie existante, mais adoptons une approche fondamentalement nouvelle qui combine la physique, la chimie et la recherche interdisciplinaire. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le centre de recherche synth\u00e9tisera des mol\u00e9cules aux propri\u00e9t\u00e9s pr\u00e9cises con\u00e7ues pour recouvrir les supraconducteurs et faciliter la formation de qubits. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la manipulation des champs \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques, ces qubits interagiront et ex\u00e9cuteront des op\u00e9rations logiques. En outre, des exp\u00e9riences \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures extr\u00eamement basses aideront les chercheurs \u00e0 comprendre les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de liaison mol\u00e9culaire des supraconducteurs, am\u00e9liorant ainsi leur stabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Des qubits stables pour l&rsquo;informatique quantique de demain<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Avec une vision \u00e0 long terme de la mise \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle de la technologie de l&rsquo;informatique quantique, le centre vise \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les erreurs de calcul et \u00e0 permettre l&rsquo;utilisation de processeurs quantiques \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle nanom\u00e9trique. Ces avanc\u00e9es pourraient soutenir des applications telles que la mod\u00e9lisation climatique, les simulations m\u00e9dicales et le traitement de l&rsquo;information \u00e0 haut rendement \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet rassemble les comp\u00e9tences de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de B\u00e2le, de l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unibe.ch\/index_fra.html\">Universit\u00e9 de Berne<\/a> et de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Salzbourg.
