Le 9 avril 2025, le Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral suisse a approuv\u00e9 l’adh\u00e9sion de la Suisse \u00e0 quatre ERIC (European Research Infrastructure Consortia), renfor\u00e7ant ainsi la participation du pays aux principaux r\u00e9seaux internationaux. Cette d\u00e9cision marque une \u00e9tape strat\u00e9gique dans la promotion de l’excellence scientifique et la collaboration transfrontali\u00e8re dans des domaines de recherche critiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette d\u00e9cision concerne l’adh\u00e9sion \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re de la Suisse \u00e0 quatre infrastructures o\u00f9 elle avait auparavant le statut d’observateur : ACTRIS, CLARIN, CTAO et ESS. Chaque ERIC se concentre sur un domaine scientifique distinct, offrant aux chercheurs un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des donn\u00e9es, des outils et des installations partag\u00e9s, et leur permettant de contribuer sur un pied d’\u00e9galit\u00e9 avec leurs pairs internationaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’ERIC ACTRIS<\/a> (Aerosol, Clouds and Trace Gases Research Infrastructure) soutient la recherche de pointe sur les processus atmosph\u00e9riques. Il fournit des donn\u00e9es et des outils ouverts pour \u00e9tudier la qualit\u00e9 de l’air, le changement climatique et leur interaction avec les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes. L’adh\u00e9sion de la Suisse renforcera l’expertise nationale en mati\u00e8re de surveillance de l’environnement et de mod\u00e9lisation climatique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le projet CLARIN<\/a> (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure) facilite l’acc\u00e8s aux ressources linguistiques num\u00e9riques et aux outils pour la linguistique et les sciences sociales. En rejoignant CLARIN, les chercheurs suisses b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieront de technologies partag\u00e9es pour soutenir le traitement multilingue des donn\u00e9es et les mod\u00e8les d’IA bas\u00e9s sur le langage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le CTAO<\/a> (Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory) est l’observatoire terrestre le plus avanc\u00e9 au monde pour l’astronomie des rayons gamma. Il explore les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes les plus \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques de l’univers, tels que les supernovae et les trous noirs. L’adh\u00e9sion de la Suisse renforce son engagement de longue date dans la physique des particules et l’astrophysique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’European Social Survey (ESS<\/a>) m\u00e8ne des enqu\u00eates transnationales qui mesurent les attitudes, les croyances et les comportements du public. Ces informations \u00e9clairent la politique sociale et la recherche en sciences politiques. La participation de la Suisse garantit que le pays reste pleinement int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans les \u00e9tudes comparatives en sciences sociales \u00e0 travers l’Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Parlement a d\u00e9j\u00e0 approuv\u00e9 le financement n\u00e9cessaire par le biais du cadre national de recherche et d’innovation 2025-2028. Avec cette expansion, la Suisse sera membre de 11 ERIC au total, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi son engagement en faveur d’une science collaborative \u00e0 fort impact.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
