Cette innovation constitue une alternative durable aux capteurs \u00e9lectroniques classiques \u00e0 base de silicium utilis\u00e9s dans la logistique et la gestion de la cha\u00eene du froid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les cha\u00eenes d\u2019approvisionnement mondiales reposent de plus en plus sur le suivi environnemental afin de garantir que les produits fragiles restent dans des plages de temp\u00e9rature strictes durant le transport. Toutefois, \u00e9quiper chaque colis de capteurs \u00e9lectroniques traditionnels reste co\u00fbteux et g\u00e9n\u00e8re une quantit\u00e9 importante de d\u00e9chets \u00e9lectroniques. En r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 ce d\u00e9fi, les trois institutions suisses ont uni leurs forces dans le cadre de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.empa.ch\/web\/greenspack\">GREENsPACK<\/a>, un projet de quatre ans financ\u00e9 par le Fonds national suisse (FNS) et Innosuisse dans le cadre du programme BRIDGE Discovery, afin de d\u00e9velopper un dispositif enti\u00e8rement biod\u00e9gradable capable d\u2019assurer une surveillance sans fil de la temp\u00e9rature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le capteur obtenu est une \u00e9tiquette imprim\u00e9e, l\u00e9g\u00e8re, sans puce, constitu\u00e9e exclusivement de mat\u00e9riaux biod\u00e9gradables. L\u2019\u00e9quipe a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 le dispositif sur un substrat composite de biopolym\u00e8re et de fibres de cellulose d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Empa, associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des circuits et \u00e0 une technologie de lecture con\u00e7us par le CSEM. Au lieu de puces en silicium ou de batteries, le capteur utilise un r\u00e9sonateur \u00e9lectrique sans fil compos\u00e9 de pistes de zinc hautement conductrices prot\u00e9g\u00e9es par une cire naturelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsqu\u2019il est scann\u00e9 par un lecteur sans fil, le capteur g\u00e9n\u00e8re un signal de r\u00e9sonance permettant d\u2019en interpr\u00e9ter l\u2019\u00e9tat. Si l\u2019envoi d\u00e9passe un seuil de temp\u00e9rature pr\u00e9d\u00e9fini, une huile biosourc\u00e9e int\u00e9gr\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tiquette fond et modifie la fr\u00e9quence de r\u00e9sonance. Ce changement, irr\u00e9versible, permet aux op\u00e9rateurs logistiques de d\u00e9terminer imm\u00e9diatement si un produit a \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9 \u00e0 des conditions inad\u00e9quates. Diff\u00e9rents seuils peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9finis en choisissant des huiles aux points de fusion sp\u00e9cifiques, telles que l\u2019huile d\u2019olive solidifi\u00e9e, l\u2019huile de jojoba ou l\u2019huile de coco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon le Laboratoire des Transducteurs Souples (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.epfl.ch\/labs\/lmts\/\">LMTS<\/a>) de l\u2019EPFL, qui a dirig\u00e9 le d\u00e9veloppement du dispositif, cette technologie montre comment les capteurs intelligents peuvent \u00eatre con\u00e7us dans une logique de durabilit\u00e9 environnementale. En 2022, les d\u00e9chets \u00e9lectroniques mondiaux ont atteint 62 m\u00e9gatonnes, dont seulement 22% ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recycl\u00e9s, soulignant la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019alternatives aux composants traditionnels. En int\u00e9grant des mat\u00e9riaux compostables, la fabrication additive et une conception sans puce, la plateforme GREENsPACK vise \u00e0 r\u00e9duire l\u2019impact environnemental tout en
