Ce r\u00e9sultat, publi\u00e9 dans <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41586-026-10385-y\">Nature<\/a><\/em>, d\u00e9passe le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent record certifi\u00e9 de 27,1% et constitue une \u00e9tape majeure dans la course mondiale vers une technologie photovolta\u00efque hautement efficace et peu co\u00fbteuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le dispositif combine une cellule inf\u00e9rieure en silicium avec deux cellules p\u00e9rovskite en couches minces d\u00e9pos\u00e9es au-dessus, formant une architecture \u00e0 triple jonction qui capte une gamme plus large du spectre solaire que les cellules conventionnelles \u00e0 jonction simple ou en tandem. L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a r\u00e9solu deux limitations persistantes de cette architecture, une tension insuffisante dans la cellule sup\u00e9rieure et une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de courant limit\u00e9e dans la cellule interm\u00e9diaire, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 trois innovations cibl\u00e9es : une mol\u00e9cule qui guide la formation des cristaux de p\u00e9rovskite et \u00e9limine les d\u00e9fauts, une nouvelle m\u00e9thode de fabrication am\u00e9liorant l&rsquo;absorption de la lumi\u00e8re proche infrarouge, et des nanoparticules qui r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissent la lumi\u00e8re solaire suppl\u00e9mentaire vers la cellule interm\u00e9diaire pour augmenter la production de courant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette r\u00e9alisation est particuli\u00e8rement significative car la p\u00e9rovskite et le silicium sont sensiblement moins co\u00fbteux \u00e0 fabriquer que les cellules semi-conductrices III-V actuellement utilis\u00e9es dans les applications spatiales, qui atteignent jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 37% d&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 mais co\u00fbtent environ 1&rsquo;000 fois plus cher par watt. La nouvelle architecture approche les performances spatiales \u00e0 une fraction du co\u00fbt, l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de recherche identifiant une voie potentielle vers des photovolta\u00efques multi-jonctions industriellement viables pour des applications de service public, r\u00e9sidentielles et spatiales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce r\u00e9sultat s&rsquo;appuie sur <a href=\"https:\/\/ggba.swiss\/fr\/les-avancees-de-la-technologie-solaire-dans-le-canton-de-neuchatel\/\">une d\u00e9cennie de recherche photovolta\u00efque soutenue men\u00e9e \u00e0 Neuch\u00e2tel<\/a> par le CSEM et l&rsquo;EPFL, qui ont pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment \u00e9tabli des records d&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 pour les cellules en tandem p\u00e9rovskite-silicium. Le CSEM, pilier du cluster de technologie de pr\u00e9cision et de cleantech du canton, poursuivra avec l&rsquo;EPFL l&rsquo;exploration de strat\u00e9gies de mont\u00e9e en \u00e9chelle et de tests de durabilit\u00e9 en vue d&rsquo;une int\u00e9gration commerciale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La recherche a b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 du soutien du <a href=\"https:\/\/research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu\/funding\/funding-opportunities\/funding-programmes-and-open-calls\/horizon-europe_en\">programme Horizon de l&rsquo;Union europ\u00e9enne<\/a>, de l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bfe.admin.ch\">Office f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie<\/a>, du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snf.ch\">Fonds national suisse de la recherche scientifique<\/a> et
