Pour fonctionner efficacement, les piles \u00e0 combustible ont besoin d&rsquo;un \u00e9lectrocatalyseur qui am\u00e9liore la r\u00e9action \u00e9lectrochimique dans laquelle l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 est produite.<\/p>\n<p>Une \u00e9quipe internationale du D\u00e9partement de Chimie et de Biochimie (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dcb.unibe.ch\/index_eng.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DCB<\/a>) de l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unibe.ch\/accs_direct\/informations_en_francais\/index_fra.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Universit\u00e9 de Berne<\/a> a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 utiliser un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 sp\u00e9cial pour produire un \u00e9lectrocatalyseur sans vecteur carbone, qui, contrairement aux catalyseurs existants, se compose d&rsquo;un mince r\u00e9seau m\u00e9tallique et est donc plus durable. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude est le fruit d&rsquo;une collaboration internationale entre la DCB et, entre autres, l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Copenhague et l&rsquo;Institut Leibniz pour la Science et la Technologie du Plasma, qui a \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 l&rsquo;infrastructure de la Swiss Light Source (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.psi.ch\/fr\/sls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SLS<\/a>) \u00e0 l&rsquo;Institut Paul Scherrer.<\/p>\n<h4>Une technologie pouvant \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9e industriellement<\/h4>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Cette technologie est \u00e9volutive sur le plan industriel et peut donc \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour des volumes de production plus importants, par exemple dans l&rsquo;industrie automobile\u00a0\u00bb, explique Matthias Arenz, chef d&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de ce projet au DCB \u00e0 Berne.
