Ce nouvel investissement permettra \u00e0 l&rsquo;entreprise de mieux r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande de ses clients en mati\u00e8re de capacit\u00e9, de gestion du cycle de vie et de la rapidit\u00e9 de la commercialisation de leurs produits.<\/p>\n<p>Cette expansion a pour but la cr\u00e9ation de nouvelles lignes de production cellulaire \u00ab\u00a0\u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle\u00a0\u00bb, avec l&rsquo;ajout de six bior\u00e9acteurs de 20&rsquo;000 litres pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande croissante du march\u00e9 pour les substances biologiques.<\/p>\n<p>La nouvelle installation aura une superficie d&rsquo;environ 27&rsquo;500 m\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s et permettra d&rsquo;augmenter la capacit\u00e9 de fabrication de produits biologiques \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle pour mieux satisfaire la demande des clients en sous-traitance. L&rsquo;installation sera \u00e9quip\u00e9e de dispositifs de perfusion et con\u00e7ue pour prendre en charge des processus \u00e0 titre \u00e9lev\u00e9, ainsi que pour accueillir la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de produits biologiques d\u00e9riv\u00e9s de mammif\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>Pens\u00e9e pour optimiser son rendement \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et sa consommation en eau, l&rsquo;installation devrait \u00eatre achev\u00e9e en 2024 et repr\u00e9sentera un investissement d&rsquo;environ CHF 650 millions. Plus de 300 nouveaux emplois seront cr\u00e9\u00e9s \u00e0 Vi\u00e8ge.<\/p>\n<p>Cette expansion viendra compl\u00e9ter le r\u00e9seau mondial de fabrication \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle d\u00e9j\u00e0 existant sur les sites de Lonza \u00e0 Tuas (SG), Portsmouth (US) et Porri\u00f1o (ES).
