Bank of China<\/a>, l\u2019une des quatre premi\u00e8res banques chinoises, a re\u00e7u le feu vert de l\u2019Autorit\u00e9 f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de surveillance des march\u00e9s financiers (FINMA) pour l\u2019ouverture de sa filiale \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve.<\/p>\n

Dans un communiqu\u00e9 de presse, la banque a indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019elle s\u2019engagera \u00e0 construire un pont pour le commerce et les investissements sino-suisses, en fournissant notamment des produits complets de financement du commerce ainsi que des services financiers pour le commerce des mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res aux entreprises suisses qui op\u00e8rent en Chine et vice-versa. Parmi les entreprises chinoises actives en Suisse figurent le n\u00e9gociant en produits agricoles COFCO, qui a \u00e9tabli son si\u00e8ge international \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve en 2017<\/a>, et le groupe d\u2019affr\u00e8tement maritime COSCO, arriv\u00e9 un an plus tard<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bank of China a \u00e9galement \u00e9voqu\u00e9 l\u2019histoire des relations sino-suisses<\/a> : la Suisse a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019un des premiers pays occidentaux \u00e0 avoir \u00e9tabli des relations diplomatiques avec la Chine et le premier pays d\u2019Europe continentale \u00e0 avoir sign\u00e9 un accord de libre-\u00e9change avec la Chine, en 2013. Aujourd\u2019hui, la Suisse est le septi\u00e8me partenaire commercial de la Chine en Europe et la Chine est le premier partenaire commercial de la Suisse en Asie.<\/p>\n
