Corintis tops 2025 Swiss Startup Awards as ranking marks 15th anniversary
23 September 2025

Lausanne-based Corintis has claimed the top spot in the 2025 Top 100 Swiss Startup Awards, highlighting the continued strength of deeptech innovation in Switzerland. The 15th edition of the awards also saw DePoly and DeepJudge complete the top three, underscoring the diversity of the Swiss startup ecosystem.
Since their launch in 2011, the awards have become a key platform for identifying and supporting the most promising Swiss start-ups. A jury of 100 investors selects the top 100 companies each year, with eligibility limited to firms no older than five years. Over the past decade and a half, 638 start-ups have been recognized, collectively raising CHF 17.8 billion in venture capital and creating more than 20,000 jobs.
Deeptech, cleantech and legaltech lead the way
This year’s winner, Corintis, was founded in Lausanne in 2021 and develops advanced liquid-cooling technology for semiconductors. By using microfluidics to improve heat dissipation, the company addresses a critical challenge in data centers and AI-intensive applications.
Second place went to DePoly, a Sion-based cleantech start-up and last year’s winner, which has developed a chemical recycling process for PET plastics and polyester textiles that enables circularity in the plastics sector. Zurich-based DeepJudge took third place with its AI-powered legaltech platform, which streamlines knowledge management and boosts efficiency in law firms and corporate legal departments.
Other companies in the top ten include Voltiris, Bloom Biorenewables, Tethys Robotics, BTRY, Tune Insight, Seprify and Nanoflex Robotics.
Newcomers and ecosystem impact
The 2025 ranking welcomed 46 newcomers, including Tethys Robotics, which debuted in sixth place, and Rivr Technologies in 15th. Parallel to the main ranking, the Top 100 Public Voting highlighted start-ups such as WattAnyWhere (cleantech), Relai (fintech) and Aurigin.ai (security).
Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the platform has become a launchpad for global leaders such as Climeworks, MindMaze, On and Sophia Genetics, demonstrating how early recognition can accelerate growth. “The Top 100 proves that start-ups are the best asset to invest in for Switzerland, building not just financial value but the next generation of global leaders,” said Jordi Montserrat, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Venturelab.
