On May 25th, the Institute for Marketing at the University of St.Gall (HSG) presented the results of a study it conducted with the htp St.Gallen Managementberatung AG, and in collaboration with GfK Switzerland (a market research company) and McCann Erickson (a global marketing communication company). According to the findings of the ‘Swissness Worldwide 2010’ report. Switzerland benefits from a very good image worldwide. Moreover, Swiss products and services appear to have a good reputation: highly respected and appreciated, and often synonym of good quality. The economic crisis, and other issues seem to have had little impact on the appreciation of the ‘made in Switzerland’ label. The report also shows that Swiss banks have managed to come out of the financial crisis with a relative good image.
