Unit8 becomes official OpenAI Services Partner in the DACH region
16 June 2025

Vaud-based AI and data analytics company Unit8 has joined forces with OpenAI to support enterprise AI adoption across Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.
Unit8, a fast-growing data and AI services provider headquartered in Morges (canton of Vaud), has announced a strategic collaboration with OpenAI, becoming an official OpenAI Services Partner in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). The partnership positions Unit8 among a select group of firms globally recognized for their ability to implement advanced AI technologies in complex enterprise environments.
Founded in 2017, Unit8 has earned a strong reputation for helping non-digital native industries, such as pharma, finance, and manufacturing, leverage artificial intelligence and analytics to modernize operations and drive value. Its clients include major players like Daimler, Firmenich, and WWF. The company has also partnered with WWF on environmental data projects, including wildfire prediction models in South America.
The selection process, led by OpenAI, focused on identifying implementation partners with proven technical expertise, deep sector knowledge, and a track record of delivering impactful AI solutions. Unit8 was chosen for its hands-on experience in regulated industries and its ability to deploy scalable AI platforms with measurable results.
“As enterprises in Europe move beyond experimentation, they need partners that can turn AI’s potential into real business value,” said Marcin Pietrzyk, CEO and founder of Unit8. “Working with OpenAI’s world-leading models and combining them with our domain expertise enables us to accelerate that transformation.”
Accelerating enterprise AI with secure and tailored solutions
Through the collaboration, Unit8 will gain early access to OpenAI’s latest features, collaborate directly with OpenAI’s engineering teams, and benefit from dedicated training resources. This will allow Unit8 to offer secure, tailored generative AI solutions that meet the unique requirements of enterprise clients.
The announcement reinforces Unit8’s ambition to lead the enterprise AI transformation in Europe, delivering faster prototyping, shorter deployment cycles, and improved innovation timelines for clients across the region. With its strong roots in Western Switzerland and a growing international presence, Unit8 continues to expand its impact on AI-driven business transformation.
