42 Vaud-based companies awarded Scale-Up Vaud 2025 label
3 March 2025

Innovaud has awarded the Scale-Up Vaud 2025 label to 42 high-growth companies, including nine new entrants, reinforcing the region’s dynamic innovation ecosystem.
The canton of Vaud continues to establish itself as a leading hub for high-growth companies, with 42 companies receiving the Scale-Up Vaud 2025 label. Organized by Innovaud, this annual distinction recognizes businesses that have successfully transitioned from start-up to scale-up, achieving a minimum 20% annual growth rate over the past three years.
Among the awarded companies, nine new scale-ups have joined the program, spanning sectors such as medtech, cleantech, and foodtech. These companies have contributed to the creation of more than 4,550 jobs in Switzerland and worldwide.
Scale-ups occupy a unique space between startups and established SMEs. Unlike startups, which are still refining their business models and seeking investment, scale-ups have validated their market fit and are actively expanding operations. To qualify for the Scale-Up Vaud label, a company must demonstrate sustained growth in revenue or workforce, with at least 10 employees or CHF 1 million in revenue at the start of the period.
The 2025 cohort introduces nine innovative companies spanning multiple industries. Argusa SA specializes in data-driven consultancy, helping businesses leverage analytics and governance for informed decision-making. Attolight develops advanced spectroscopy solutions for materials science and semiconductor research, while BE WTR focuses on sustainable water filtration technology tailored for both hospitality and individual consumers. DHEH brings expertise in mechanical micro-connectors, catering to the watchmaking and microtechnology sectors.
DOPPL SA harnesses AI-driven organoid technology to accelerate drug discovery and toxicity screening, whereas Eeproperty SA provides digital management solutions for optimizing shared spaces in residential buildings. Picterra offers an AI-powered GeoAI system for real-time asset monitoring and pattern detection, and Resilio supports organizations in their sustainable digitalization efforts. Last but not least, Swiss Motion Technologies is revolutionizing patient care with its next-generation 3D-printed prosthetic liners.
A thriving ecosystem for scale-ups
The Scale-Up Vaud community provides an extensive networking and knowledge-sharing platform, connecting CEOs, HR managers, CFOs, and CTOs from awarded companies. This dynamic environment fosters collaboration, allowing members to exchange insights on managing rapid growth.
Transitioning from start-up to scale-up presents numerous challenges, from workforce expansion to securing investors. The LeadiNNg to Scale-Up program, a joint initiative between Innovaud and IMD, equips executives with the tools and strategies needed to navigate these complexities. Several companies receiving the Scale-Up Vaud label have previously participated in this program, benefiting from its mentorship and networking opportunities.
With its strong research institutions, supportive investment climate and access to talent, the canton of Vaud remains an ideal location for companies looking to scale globally. As these 42 scale-ups continue their growth trajectory, the Scale-Up Vaud initiative will play a key role in fostering innovation and strengthening the region’s economic landscape.
