Lausanne-based Scholé AI has raised USD 3 million to expand its AI-driven learning platform, supporting enterprise adoption of practical, role-specific AI skills.
Lausanne-based Scholé AI has raised USD 3 million in funding to accelerate the deployment of its AI-native learning platform designed for the modern workforce. The round was led by ACE Ventures, with participation from The House Fund and FundF.
Scholé AI develops an adaptive learning platform that delivers personalized, context-aware training grounded in each company’s own tools, workflows, and internal materials. The solution targets a growing challenge faced by enterprises adopting artificial intelligence: translating rapid technological progress into practical, day-to-day productivity gains for employees.
Founded by Vinitra Swamy and Paola Mejia, both PhD graduates from EPFL’s Machine Learning for Education lab, Scholé AI is a spin-off from academic research conducted at EPFL and University of California, Berkeley. The founders combined research in AI-driven education with enterprise-focused product development to create short, interactive learning modules that adapt in real time to users’ roles, tasks, and learning preferences.
Unlike traditional static training programs, Scholé AI’s platform dynamically adjusts content difficulty and format as learners progress, while remaining closely aligned with company-specific use cases. Its initial focus is on closing the AI skills gap by teaching employees how to apply AI tools directly in their daily work.
The company reports growing traction in Switzerland and internationally. Scholé AI has collaborated with Harvard University on AI-intensive courses used by learners from global organizations, and is piloting its platform with Swiss companies including Swisscom, Decathlon, and Coop. With the new funding, Scholé AI plans to expand enterprise deployments, grow its team, and strengthen its presence in the United States.
