Corintis tops the Top100 Swiss Startup Ranking 2026, with half the top ten from Western Switzerland

Corintis has taken first place in the Top100 Swiss Startup Ranking 2026, ahead of Zurich’s DeepJudge and Villeneuve-based PAVE Space. Five of the ten highest-ranked companies are based in Western Switzerland.

Corintis, the Lausanne-based engineering company, has taken first place in the Top100 Swiss Startup Ranking 2026, retaining the title it won the previous year. The ranking, selected by a jury of 100 investors and experts and organized by Venturelab with presenting partner UBS, was unveiled at the award ceremony in Zurich.

Zurich-based legal AI company DeepJudge took the silver award, and PAVE Space, based in Villeneuve in the canton of Vaud, the bronze. Western Switzerland accounts for half of the top ten: alongside Corintis and PAVE Space, Voltiris of Epalinges ranks fourth, Seprify of Marly in the canton of Fribourg fifth, and DPhi Space of Ecublens seventh. The top ten is dominated by hardware companies, with the remaining places going to robotics and engineering firms from the Zurich region.

Regional companies also feature among the six special awards. Dexterous Endoscopes was named best newcomer in the ranking, Voltiris best-ranked cleantech start-up, and Lausanne-based Kandou Bus recorded the largest financing round closed by a Top100 company in 2026.

Launched in 2011, the Top100 has recognized 677 start-ups to date, which have together created more than 27,000 jobs, raised CHF 19 billion in funding and produced 111 exits, 11 IPOs and 11 unicorns. According to Venturelab, this year’s ranking reflects continued strength in artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, climate technology, engineering and space.
