iazzu is a Swiss technology company specializing in the art sector. Since January 2020, it has been supported by the Foundation for Technological Innovation (FIT) and the Bern Economic Development Agency (BEDA). In parallel, the company moved its headquarters from Zurich to Biel, not far from Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne (SIPBB).

“iazzu, an innovative start-up born in Zurich, has succeeded in bridging art and technology thanks to an ingenious app. We are delighted that they have chosen the canton of Bern and the high tech ecosystem of Biel as an ideal location for their development,” said Jean-Philippe Devaux of the Bern Economic Development Agency in a press release.

Innovation in ArtTech

iazzu develops technologies with the aim of spreading art digitally by making artwork accessible on all mobile devices. Thanks to augmented reality, the application allows easy digital access to temporary exhibitions and collections. Galleries, art institutions and artists can thus communicate effectively and innovatively with their target audiences.

Since its launch in April 2019, iazzu has recorded continuous growth with customers in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Spain and Asia.
