Crop protection drone specialist Aero41 moves its activities to the Agropôle campus

The only company to develop crop protection drones that are entirely Swiss Made, Aero41 is moving its headquarters to the Vaud-based Agropôle campus.

Over the past several years, drones dedicated to crop protection have progressively found their place among vineyard professionals after having demonstrated their usefulness. In this context, start-up Aero41 aims to meet the regulatory and ecological requirements of winegrowers and farmers.

Today, Aero41 is the only Swiss company to develop crop protection drones that are entirely Swiss Made. Following a growing interest from clients, the start-up has announced it will be moving its headquarters to the Agropôle sustainable food campus in Molondin (canton of Vaud).

Aero 41’s drone, dubbed AGv2, is entirely dedicated to crop protection. It features a flexible and intelligent platform that integrates AI and collect data to make crop protection more and more eco-responsible while being effective to ensure the necessary yields.

After participating in the EU-funded SESAME project in 2021, the start-up has closed its first round of seed financing, which will allow the crop protection pioneer to release its proprietary flight control system and relocate its activities to the Agropôle campus.
