Ecorobotix raises USD 150 million to accelerate AI-powered precision farming

Agtech pioneer Ecorobotix secures USD 150 million to advance its Plant-by-Plant AI technology and unveil new innovation at Agritechnica.
Vaud-based Ecorobotix, a global leader in AI-powered ultra-high precision (UHP) spraying, has raised USD 150 million to expand its Plant-by-Plant technology and accelerate global growth. The amount combines the company’s Series C (USD 45 million, 2024) and Series D (USD 105 million, 2025) rounds. Building on its rapid international expansion, Ecorobotix will present its latest innovation at Agritechnica in Hanover in November 2025.
Central to the company’s momentum is its patented Plant-by-Plant AI, capable of identifying and treating each plant individually with a spray footprint of just a few centimeters. The technology reduces pesticide and crop protection product use by up to 95%, while maintaining full treatment effectiveness. It enables farmers to safely apply non-selective products, lower their input costs, comply with stricter regulations, and improve yields, a significant step toward sustainable, data-driven agriculture.
The Series D funding was led by Highland Europe, joined by new investors ECBF and McWin Capital Partners (via the McWin Food Tech Fund). This new capital follows a 2023 USD 52 million round co-led by AQTON SE and Cibus Capital, reinforcing the company’s strong financial foundation and investor confidence.
Pushing precision farming to new levels
“These latest investments allow us to accelerate innovation, expand into new crop types, and bring our advanced algorithms to market faster,” said Dominique Mégret, CEO of Ecorobotix. “We are scaling a proven solution to deliver better-quality food for the world.”
At Agritechnica 2025, Ecorobotix will reveal a new generation of its ARA technology, pushing precision farming to new levels. “Farmers today face rising costs, labor shortages, and increasing pressure to produce more with fewer inputs. Our new innovation helps them meet those challenges,” added Mégret.
With operations spanning over 20 countries across Europe, the Americas, and Oceania, Ecorobotix continues to redefine sustainable crop protection through AI and Western Switzerland’ engineering excellence.
