Fribourg-based Poulpigo has launched a free Swiss platform to plan, book, and centralize travel in one place.

Born at bluefactory in Fribourg, Poulpigo positions itself as the first Swiss all-in-one platform dedicated to autonomous travelers. Initially developed to meet the operational needs of travel professionals specializing in tailor-made journeys, the tool is now available to the general public free of charge.

Planning a trip has become increasingly complex, with information scattered across multiple websites, confirmations stored in different emails, and logistical challenges multiplying. While social media and AI tools such as ChatGPT have become major sources of inspiration, translating ideas into a structured and bookable itinerary remains a challenge. Poulpigo aims to bridge this gap.

After several months of intensive internal use by travel professionals, covering hundreds of real journeys representing more than CHF 1 million in planned services, the platform has been refined and opened to individual travelers. Users can plan itineraries visually on a map, add flights, accommodations, car rentals, and activities, book directly through the interface, and centralize all travel documents in one place.

A key feature, “Les voyages de Poulpi,” offers a library of professionally designed itineraries that users can adapt to their preferences, adjusting routes, durations, and services.

Poulpigo operates on a commission-based model through bookings made via integrated professional partners. Available in French, the platform primarily targets travelers in Switzerland and expatriates, with plans for gradual international expansion.
