This strategic acquisition strengthens SPIE’s presence in Switzerland and bolsters its expertise in digital transformation and automation.

SPIE has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Corporate Software SA, a Bern-based IT consulting and services firm. Founded in 2011, Corporate Software specializes in Microsoft’s Data Platform and Power Platform technologies, alongside artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics. The company employs 21 highly skilled professionals and has built a strong reputation for its innovative approach to enterprise digitalization.

This acquisition allows Corporate Software to maintain its agile and innovative culture while benefiting from the resources and stability offered by SPIE ICS SA, a key player in the multi-technical services sector. By combining their strengths, both companies aim to accelerate growth and expand their reach in the evolving digital landscape.

For SPIE, this acquisition is a strategic step toward enhancing its expertise in cloud transformation, automation, and AI-driven solutions. The integration of Corporate Software’s specialized knowledge in Microsoft technologies complements SPIE’s robust infrastructure and client-focused mission.

Corporate Software’s co-founders, Matthias Falland and Patrick Sommer, will remain with the company to ensure continuity and further develop its activities. “This partnership enables us to unlock the potential of our solutions and services while taking on larger, more diverse projects in the fast-changing digital landscape,” the founders stated in the company’s official press release.

A strategic partnership with long-term benefits

The collaboration between SPIE and Corporate Software SA positions the combined entity to lead digital transformation efforts in Switzerland and beyond. Leveraging SPIE’s infrastructure and Corporate Software’s specialized expertise, the partnership aims to deliver innovative IT solutions tailored to the evolving needs of businesses.

SPIE plans to finalize the acquisition in the first quarter of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. Together, the two companies are set to drive innovation in automation, data intelligence, and digital transformation, ensuring long-term growth and success in a rapidly changing market.
