FIF supports four start-ups to reinforce Geneva’s impact-driven innovation ecosystem

The Fonds pour l’Innovation et le Futur de Genève (FIF) has awarded Seed funding to four early-stage projects in Geneva, reinforcing the canton’s digital and impact-driven innovation ecosystem.

Three digital start-ups, Scenario X, Flottando and Axy, each received CHF 50,000 through the FIF Seed Digital program, while life sciences initiative Nose Switzerland secured CHF 20,000 under FIF Seed Impact.

Nose Switzerland, developed in collaboration with the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) and the University of Geneva, addresses chemosensory dysfunction in cancer patients. Its solution combines an olfactory profiling kit with a digital application to identify aromas and flavors patients can still enjoy, enabling personalized nutrition plans. The funding will support the extension of clinical trials and broader deployment.

Scenario X is building a quantum-hybrid decision intelligence platform for financial institutions. By integrating AI, advanced optimization and quantum-enhanced computing, the Geneva-based SaaS company aims to improve high-dimensional risk analysis and capital allocation. The Seed funding will strengthen product and business development.

Flottando develops AI-powered fleet management software that automates mobility operations for companies. The cloud-based platform provides real-time analytics, cost optimization and compliance tracking. Funding will help expand its team and European presence.

Axy focuses on scientific collaboration, offering an AI-driven platform that enhances conference experiences through personalized content discovery and networking. The support will enable further product development and team growth.
