MyoLink: revolutionizing rehabilitation
MyoLink received a CHF 50,000 FIF Grant for its innovative, non-invasive muscle monitoring system designed for gait rehabilitation. Using elastic bands with integrated electrodes, the solution provides real-time, quantitative data on muscle activity, simplifying assessments for clinicians and enabling remote use by patients. Developed by a team based at Campus Biotech, MyoLink is set to transform rehabilitation practices.
Astrocyte: a novel Alzheimer’s therapy
Astrocyte was awarded a CHF 100,000 FIF Seed Loan to advance its brain-penetrant inhibitor targeting astrocyte signaling in Alzheimer’s disease. This innovative approach addresses underexplored mechanisms and has shown promise in preclinical models by protecting against memory loss. Supported by the Wyss Center and research entities at Campus Biotech, Astrocyte is advancing new frontiers in Alzheimer’s therapy development.
Effetto Venturi: sustainable water solutions
Effetto Venturi SA secured a CHF 100,000 FIF Seed Loan for its lightweight, autonomous buoys designed to improve water delimitation. These anchor-less buoys, already used by water sports clubs in 13 countries and at the Paris 2024 Olympics, reduce environmental impact and improve operational efficiency. Based at the FONGIT in Geneva, the company is driving sustainability in water management.
The ShowCase: elevating luxury retail
The ShowCase Sàrl received a CHF 200,000 FIF Growth Loan to scale its portable studio system for luxury product presentations.
