Csky.ai has secured over CHF 1 million in seed funding to accelerate market entry and advance privacy-first AI solutions for businesses.

Vaud-based Edge AI start-up csky.ai has successfully closed its seed funding round, surpassing CHF 1 million in total funding, including equity, grants, and loans since its launch. The funding round saw participation from Swiss, French, and American business angels, the Founderful Fund, and two companies. This financial boost aims to accelerate the startup’s market entry, led by Hugo Flayac.

Csky.ai, an EPFL spin-off, is at the forefront of Edge AI technology, creating next-generation smart devices designed for businesses and institutions. Its innovative AI solutions operate locally, ensuring complete privacy while automating the documentation of professional conversations. This allows clients to enjoy advanced automation without compromising their privacy.

“The success of a start-up is measured in stages, and this seed financing round is another achievement for our project. We’re very proud to have achieved this milestone, which is not an easy one. The steps will always be higher, but so is our motivation. We’ve seen our predictions from early 2022 come true in terms of enterprises’ relationship with the cloud, and we’re happy to see the widespread awareness of privacy and cybersecurity, fueled by the democratization of artificial intelligence. We continue to pursue our goal of becoming a global leader in privacy-first AI solutions,” said Hugo Flayac, CEO and Co-Founder of Csky.ai.

The CHF 775,000 raised in the seed round will be used to enhance the technical team with top-tier engineers in Switzerland and to advance the hardware development of its flagship product, the ClearMind private Assistant, for companies and institutions. This funding round underscores csky.ai’s commitment to its vision of delivering privacy-first AI solutions.
